Summary

The work describes the nature of world economy’s structural changes in the epoch of globalization. The main focus is made on developing the financial sector at a very fast pace and turning it into the main driving force of economic growth. Characterized the contradictions, that accompany this process and indicated that the mechanism for solving the resistance between the real and financial sectors of the modern economy is the economic crisis. It contains both - destructive and constructive elements and is a necessary condition for the recovery of the economic system.
